The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel chose this photo to help tell the story of the Madison illegal immigration rally.
The message: These people are Americans, even if they are undocumented.
Was it an editorial decision by the JS to highlight the American flags and keep the Mexican flags and those of other nations out of the picture?
Of course.
These photos from WISC-TV present the rest of the story and give a more complete picture.
Flying the American flag upside down doesn't help their cause.
I don't like to see that.
