Feingold's Allegiance and S. 3930

Is Russ Feingold's allegiance to the American people?

Does he care about the security of the nation and the safety of our children?

I'm sure he does. He's not a monster, but he is dangerously misguided.

Unfortunately, Feingold carries water for the radical Left and the ACLU rather than standing up for mainstream America.

If he really does want to be President of the United States, he's going about it the wrong way. A Leftist as extreme as Feingold doesn't stand a chance in a national election.

In response to President Bush signing into law S. 3930, the Military Commissions Act of 2006, Feingold released this statement:

“The legislation signed by the President today violates basic principles and values of our constitutional system of government. It allows the government to seize individuals on American soil and detain them indefinitely with no opportunity to challenge their detention in court. And the new law would permit an individual to be convicted on the basis of coerced testimony and even allow someone convicted under these rules to be put to death.

The checks and balances of our system of government and the fundamental fairness of the American people and legal system are among our greatest strengths in the fight against terrorism. I am deeply disappointed that Congress enacted this law. We will look back on this day as a stain on our nation’s history.”

Feingold is being very deceptive.

He's talking as if the legislation applies to U.S. citizens.

He's wrong.

S. 3930 applies to our enemies at a time of war. It applies to terrorists, aliens.

American citizens are protected by the U.S. Constitution.

S 3930 doesn't take away the rights of U.S. citizens.

Feingold and his terrorist-appeasing colleagues don't want you to understand that.

So, they are issuing statements of outrage over S. 3930 being signed into law.

Fact: Feingold and his comrades believe that the U.S. government should be compelled to grant the rights of U.S. citizens to the enemy during wartime.

Feingold and the Left want to bestow the rights of American citizens on terrorists, people that are actively trying to do us great harm.

Do you believe that terrorists seeking to kill Americans and to destroy American property should have the same rights and privileges as American citizens?

Feingold does.

So does "Nobody's Senator" Herb Kohl.

Does this make you want to vote for Democrats on November 7?
