Andrew Bogut

It doesn't matter what hemisphere Andrew Bogut is in.

He's very tall and a major league jerk.

At home in Australia, appearing on a TV program called
The Nation with host Mick Malloy, Bogut looked like an idiot and acted like one.

His new hair style is creepy. It's not a mohawk but I still think he was inspired by Travis Bickle.

He wasn't very nice when he spoke about Milwaukee, and neither was Malloy.

This from inhabitants of a place that the British first used as a penal colony.

Watch the interview.

I thought it was difficult to understand at times. What I did understand was mainly lame attempts at humor by Malloy as he chatted with Bogut.

There was a woman as a co-host. She asked the burning question, "Who's the biggest wanker in the NBA?"

Bogut dodged that one.

Malloy asked about "the bling and the fast cars" of the NBA.

They talked about Bogut's injuries and his contract and Milwaukee.

Malloy wondered, "What about Milwaukee? I mean, like you know, you think of America. You got your LA Lakers, and you think of Boston, and all that stuff. You know, Milwaukee. You happy with Milwaukee?"

Bogut responded, "It's per capita the drunkest city in America. The fattest city in America per capita."

How nice!

Maybe Mayor Tom Barrett should take Bogut on a tour of the city. Bogut didn't mention the Calatrava.

Do you think if Milwaukee had Barrett's dream 3 mile streetcar loop, Bogut would have had a different answer? Perhaps Bogut would have said, "Milwaukee has a great rail system! It takes you right to the Bradley Center!!"

At the end of the interview, Malloy asked the announcer if he had a question for Bogut. It seemed like part of the show's routine.

The announcer steered the conversation back to Milwaukee.

He said, "Milwaukee. I'm kind of interested. If I come over, do you think you could put me up? I want to take a brewery tour."

Wow. Isn't that funny? Isn't Australian TV entertaining?

I think someone should wake up Herb Kohl and tell him that he needs to have a talk with Bogut. Maybe he should learn not to bite the hand that feeds him.

Back to that question, "Who's the biggest wanker in the NBA?"

There are so many wankers that it's hard to say, but I think Bogut is the biggest wanker on the Bucks.
