If anyone felt that Michael Schiavo was being treated unfairly, being unjustly vilified by some in the New Media, this should put those charges to rest.
He couldn't even muster up the decency to show some kindness to Terri's grieving family in marking her final resting place. Apparently, it wasn't enough for Schiavo to get a court to sanction her murder. After seeing that she was put to death, he takes another despicable shot.
Michael Schiavo is an incredibly self-centered individual. (Did I want to use other terms? Yes.)

TAMPA, Fla. -- The burial of Terri Schiavo's cremated remains didn't bring an end to the acrimony between her husband and her family.
Michael Schiavo angered his late wife's family Monday by not notifying them about the burial beforehand and by inscribing on her bronze grave marker the words "I kept my promise."
Michael Schiavo -- who said he promised his wife he would not keep her alive artificially -- also listed Feb. 25, 1990, as the date his wife "Departed this Earth."
On that date, Schiavo collapsed and fell into what most doctors said was an irreversible vegetative state.
Schiavo actually died March 31, nearly two weeks after her feeding tube was removed by court order. The grave marker lists that date as when Schiavo was "at peace."
David Gibbs, an attorney for the woman's parents, Bob and Mary Schindler, decried the inscriptions on the marker. "Obviously, that's a real shot and another unkind act toward a grieving mom and dad," Gibbs said.
...Michael Schiavo had said her ashes would be buried at a family plot in Pennsylvania. But on Monday his attorney, George Felos, said in a statement that the service and burial had taken place at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater.
The statement did not explain why Schiavo, who lives near Clearwater, decided to keep his wife's remains in Florida. He did not return a phone call seeking additional information.
"We're hopeful that there was some effort here to show some kindness" to the Schindlers, Gibbs said of the decision to bury the body in Florida.
...The Schindlers' attorney said the family was notified by fax only after Monday's service, when the family had already started getting calls from reporters.
Can you imagine learning by fax where your daughter's remains were buried???

True, it could be Michael Schiavo may have made a concession to the Schindlers by not burying Terri in Pennsylvania, and deciding on Florida instead.
Any possible kindness, however, is negated by the heartless, self-serving grave marker.
Did Nancy Reagan have a separate date etched on President Reagan's marker, stating when he no longer recognized her, or when he could no longer speak?
Who distinguishes between the date of death and the date when an individual becomes brain-injured due to accident or disease? People don't have a marker engraved with things like, "Born on 00/00/00," "Comatose on 00/00/00," and "At peace on 00/00/00."
No decent person does.
"Departed this earth"??? I'd like to see Terri's death certificate. Did the physician certify that Terri died on February 25, 1990, or March 31, 2005?
Every time Terri's family visits her grave, Michael Schiavo will be tormenting them.
I'd like to know who thought up such a tasteless way to mark Terri's burial site.
Whose blackened soul came up with that one?
