Cheap Shot

Ann Coulter is not happy with the photo of her that Time picked for its cover this week.

She told Matt Drudge that they gave Kim Jong Il a more flattering photo. Ann is not happy. The Time reporter told her there was one photo he told them they could not use--the one that made her feet look enormous. Obviously, that's exactly the one Time chose to use.

Ann said her own mother won't recognize her.

Although John Cloud's story is complimentary and there are a number of good-looking photos inside the issue, the cover shows a distorted, funhouse image.

Since Cloud didn't do a hatchet job on Ann, Time had to deliver something to it's liberal readership to keep them happy.

Without a doubt, Time's unbecoming cover shot of Ann Coulter is a cheap shot.

Clearly, they find her threatening. She should be flattered.
