Jim Doyle's Opinion of You

Are you a resident of Wisconsin?

Yes?

Your second-term governor Jim Doyle thinks you're stupid.

In order to get his litany of proposed fee and tax increases enacted, he's counting on you to be too stupid to understand that YOU will pay for them, not some hospital or oil company or other third party.

YOU will pay the price.

Will Wisconsinites revolt?

I don't see any signs of that. It seems we're willing to accept Doyle's plans to raise our taxes and grab more of our money.

Is it just a bad habit of ours?

Have we been trained to submit to the government, mindlessly allowing the state to pick our pockets?

Doyle has proposed all those fee and tax increases to take your money away from you for the worst reason -- BECAUSE HE CAN.

He thinks that he can get away with getting Wisconsinites to buy his BS. Why? -- BECAUSE HE CAN.

I don't know why Wisconsinites gave Doyle another four years as governor. It really boggles my mind. I believe his reelection was a huge mistake.

I also don't understand why the people of Wisconsin seem to be relatively unfazed by Doyle's budget proposals.

Far too many of us don't seem to care that he's reneging on his promise to not raise taxes.

In effect, Wisconsinites are acting as enablers for Taxman Doyle.

If we do nothing more than whine a little about what he's doing, then we must be held responsible for feeding Doyle's addiction to excessive taxation.

It doesn't have to be this way.

We can stage an intervention if we want.

Why not tell Doyle that we're not stupid, that we get what he's doing and it's not OK with us?

Contact your representatives and let them know that you won't stand for this.

Send Doyle and your representatives a message.

Let them know that you're not as stupid as they think you are.

If that's too much trouble, you can take the other route and let them screw you.
