After The Path to 9/11, a special edition of Nightline aired, anchored by Cynthia McFadden.

Brian Ross interviewed Richard Clarke.

He cited George Tenet as the problem, pulling the plug on Clinton's orders to get bin Laden.

It seemed like a CYA piece clearly intended to appease the Clintonistas.

Then, Terry Moran appeared LIVE from Afghanistan. He reported that "The war is escalating."

He said there's more violence now than ever since the U.S. ousted the Taliban.

I think Clinton's lawyers served as "advisers" to this special edition of Nightline.
