Ice dam update: Tremendous progress has been made thanks to roof raking, calcium chloride, and the above freezing temperatures.
What a relief!
It's great to have things thawing out, especially with Christmas just a few days away. The lights on the evergreens are visible again and the icicle lights are all working.
The baking is done. All the cookies, made from recipes handed down from one generation to the next, are packed in their tins. There's just a little shopping left for the procrastinator in the family (not me) to finish up this weekend. Other than that, only some additional groceries for holiday meals and entertaining need to be purchased.
Everything is under control.
