Is it possible for a Christmas message to be too religious?

If one attends a Christmas church service, shouldn't one expect a religious message?
Good grief.
I don't think that atheists should be protected from being offended at a CHURCH SERVICE.
If steps need to be taken to keep from offending non-believers in church, then steps should be taken to keep from offending believers in secular society.
