NO CHARGES FOR BUSS

According to News/Talk 1130 WISN, James Buss will not be charged for his "anonymous" blog posting at Boots and Sabers.

The Washington County DA decided that Buss' Columbine-like, taking out teachers "one shot at a time" comments did not constitute a specific threat.

He's a free, but no longer anonymous, man.

More, from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:

Washington County District Attorney Todd Martens has decided not to charge Oak Creek high school teacher James Buss for online comments he made on Nov. 16, facetiously saying the 1999 Columbine High School killers "knew how to deal with overpaid teacher union thugs" when they opend fire on students and staff.

"I find the content of th eblog offensive and disgusting," Martens wrote in a letter to West Bend School District Superintendent Patricia Herdrich, who filed a complaint against Buss.

"But to find the content illegal, it must have been directed to inciting imminent lawless action and have been likely to do so. I cannot so find," Martens wrote.

...Buss is past president of the Oak Creek School District's teachers union. He was suspended from his job as a teacher at Oak Creek High School.

Sara Larsen, superintendent of the Oak Creek-Franklin School District, said today she will review the police report with Buss and then decide on what discipline to apply.

Buss will be able to appeal her decision to the Oak Creek-Franklin School Board, she said.
