From The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:
Police are looking for a lone bandit who held up the North Shore Bank at 4230 W. Oklahoma Ave. on Tuesday morning.
The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-30s about 5-foot-7, weighing 150 pounds with a graying mustache. He was wearing dark-colored sunglasses, a gray hooded sweatshirt, baseball cap and polyester trench coat with white tennis shoes, said Deputy Chief Brian O'Keefe.
He said the man, who was not armed, presented a note demanding money.
How do the police know the man wasn't armed?
Did the "lone bandit" say that he had no gun when he demanded money?
Not showing a gun in the robbery doesn't mean that the guy didn't have one.
The question: Is this latest suspect part of the gang responsible for the other crimes?
He could be a copycat.
Does it matter?
If I were the victim of a robbery or other crime, that would be completely irrelevant to me.
The bottom line is crime is becoming commonplace in previously safe areas of Milwaukee.
I think Mayor Tom Barrett needs to take another walk -- a long, long, long walk.
